It’s Gonna Be A Big First Quarter On 10

A few weeks after the jungle adventure begins we will welcome a brand new season of Dave Hughes and his hilarious Hughesy, We Have A Problem. That will be quickly followed by new seasons of Dancing With The Stars with Amanda Keller and Grant Denyer and the acclaimed Ambulance Australia, before Bachelor In Paradise kicks off for another season.

The first quarter will also see the arrival of a show that is already generating real buzz – Australian Survivor: All Stars. Between me and you, from what we’ve seen, this season is OUTSTANDING. More than 20 villains, heroes, players, challenge beasts and winners from seasons past are set to return, along with host Jonathan LaPaglia, for what is going to be the ultimate Survivor showdown.

We’ve told you before who some of the returning Survivors are, including Phoebe Timmins, Brooke Jowett, Nick Iadanza and Felicity Egginton from season one; Henry Nicholson and Mark “Tarzan” Herlaar from season two; Mat Rogers from Champions V Contenders/season three; and David Genat from Champions V Contenders/season four this year.

And that is just the start. Olympic swimming legend and season three winner, Shane Gould, is back, determined to take out the title of Sole Survivor for the second time.

Joining her is former tribe mate and Olympic freestyle skier, Lydia Lassila. One of the game’s biggest threats, Lydia ruthlessly blindsided in season three is out for revenge and redemption.

Having made it to the final three in season four, “Dirty” Harry Hills has his eyes fixed firmly on the main prize. This year, after weeks of scheming, he took down Janine “The Godmother” Allis. Who will fall victim to Harry’s games in 2020?

This year Australian Survivor had its best season ever, with its audience up 10% year-on-year (including BVOD). It ranked #1 in its timeslot in under 50s and all key demos, was the #1 entertainment show on social media during its run and saw its BVOD audience jump 35%. They were great results and next year is going to be even better.
