It’s big, it’s noisy, it’s stomach-churning (at times) and it’s the #1 show of summer. The sixth season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has arrived with a roar and Australians are hooked.

The number of people watching the jungle antics is up an amazing 17% year on year, the show is breaking its own audience share records and it’s the #1 show on BVOD this year.

Since it started on 5 January, the new season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has dominated the under 50s TV audience. In its first week, it accounted for all of the six most-watched shows among under 50s, 18 to 49s, 16 to 39s and 25 to 54s – beating the evening news bulletins on other networks and Seven’s not-so-Big Bash League.

In its second week, the show performed the same magic, taking the top six spots for the week in among under 50s, 18 to 49s, 16 to 39s and 25 to 54s.

So far, the show is recording its highest ever commercial shares, including 42.5% in 25 to 54s, 39.8% in 16 to 39s and 45.3% in under 50s.
