Beverley McGarvey

Executive Vice President, Chief Content Officer & Head of Paramount+

With over 25 years’ experience in television internationally and in Australia, Beverley McGarvey was appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Content Officer in March 2020.

Beverley possesses vast experience as an Australian media business and creative leader. She is responsible for all content and creative activities related to the company’s networks and digital properties in Australia and New Zealand including 10, 10 Peach, 10 Bold, 10 Shake, 10 Play, MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and Paramount+.

Beverley started her career in the creative team at UTV in Belfast before working in programming and production at TV3 Ireland and at ITV’s Meridian Television in England. She later joined TV3 New Zealand, where she was Director of Programming for several years.

Before she was appointed Executive Vice President, Beverley had been Chief Content Officer at Network 10 since 2016 and Chief Programming Officer since 2012, after joining the company as Head of Programming in 2006.

Since joining Network 10, Beverley has been responsible for the successful launch of many franchise series, including MasterChef Australia, Have You Been Paying Attention?, Gogglebox Australia, Australian Survivor, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Australia, The Project, The Bachelor Australia and many more.

With a strong and successful catalogue of Australian produced drama, under the direction of Beverley, the network has also launched successful drama series including Offspring, The Wrong Girl, Five Bedrooms, My Life Is Murder and The Secrets She Keeps.

Rod Prosser

Chief Sales Officer

Rod was appointed Paramount ANZ Chief Sales Officer in February 2020, with overall responsibility for the advertising sales function of the organisation in Australia and New Zealand. Rod was previously Network 10’s Chief Sales Officer from August 2018 and led the rebuilding and insourcing of the sales team.

Rod joined the company in 2010 and has held a number of senior roles including Executive General Manager, Revenue and Client Partnerships, Sales Director of Brisbane and Sydney, National Head of Trading and Sport Sales and General Manager of 10’s Brisbane and South-East Queensland station, TVQ.

He is also a member of the Paramount Australia and New Zealand executive leadership team.

Prior to joining Network 10, Rod spent 12 years in senior sales roles at the Nine Network and ACP Magazines.

Natasha Coxhead

Vice President, Finance

Natasha was appointed Vice President, Finance in 2020, bringing with her a wealth of experience with over 17 years in the finance sector.

Prior to this, Natasha was Director of Financial Reporting and Control at ITV in London where she has spent the last 13 years in various senior finance roles.

An experienced finance business partner with strategic, commercial, technical and operational expertise, Natasha specialises in financial oversight and leadership, commercial strategy and governance and risk management.

Natasha is a Member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.

Anthony McDonald

Vice President of Human Resources

Anthony joined Paramount ANZ in 2020 as Vice President of Human Resources.

Prior to joining Paramount ANZ, Anthony spent a year as General Manager of Human Resources at News Corp Australia. His key focus was on performance, organisation design and talent capability.

Before that, Anthony was a well-respected team member at Origin for just shy of a decade. He held such roles including Transformation People Lead, Senior People and Culture Manager, culminating in him being appointed Head of People & Culture for his final two years with the business. The newly created role saw Anthony lead and develop a nationally based team of 12, who together were responsible for delivering the Origin wide people strategy, business unit strategic people priorities and Origin wide cyclical activities plus more.

Anthony also spent seven years at Pfizer Australia. After Pfizer acquired Wyeth resulting in a $68 billion global merger, Anthony, as Human Resources Manager, was responsible for leading the integration process. He is also a member of the Paramount Australia and New Zealand executive leadership team.

Stuart Thomas

VP Legal & Corporate Affairs

Stuart joined Network 10 in August 2013 as General Counsel and was appointed Company Secretary in December 2016.

He was promoted to Paramount Australia and New Zealand’s VP Legal & Corporate Affairs in July 2020, taking on additional responsibility for corporate affairs, government and regulatory activity across the company.

Stuart is a member of the Paramount Australia and New Zealand’s executive leadership team.

Stuart is the former Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs and Chief Operating Officer at Macquarie Radio Network, and a former General Counsel at Nine Network. He is also a former partner at Gilbert & Tobin and worked at Allen Allen & Hemsley (now known as Allens).

Passionate about the performing arts, Stuart is a sponsor of Griffin Theatre, Bangarra Dance and Sydney Dance Company.

 

Catherine Donovan

Vice President Publicity & Communications

With more than 15 years’ experience in PR and Publicity in the commercial sector, Catherine is responsible for leading the publicity and corporate communications teams of Paramount Australia and New Zealand which includes Network 10, MTV, Nickelodeon and Paramount+.

Catherine joined Network 10 in 2004 and has held several senior publicity roles including Sydney Publicity Manager and Network Publicity Manger, Sport. She was appointed Head of Publicity in September 2012, and in 2019, Catherine was appointed to the role of Head of PR Strategy and Events.

Prior to joining 10, Catherine worked in the communication department of Warner Village Theme Parks.

Catherine is on the board of The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, The Common Good, and is also a member of the Paramount ANZ Executive Leadership Team.

Daniel Monaghan

Senior Vice President Content & Programming

Daniel was appointed Network 10’s Head of Programming in September 2016 and is responsible for development and execution of programming strategies for 10’s suite of content platforms. This includes overseeing the planning, scheduling, media planning, multiplatform programming, studio and third-party content acquisitions and regulatory compliance of all platforms.

As a member of Paramount Australia and New Zealand’s senior management, Daniel works with Sales, Promotions, Marketing, Publicity, Insights, Distribution and the wider Paramount company to integrate priorities into programming plans to maximise engagement and reach.

Daniel is a member of the Paramount Australia and New Zealand’s executive leadership team.

Prior to joining 10 in 2008, Daniel spent four years at creative agency Love Communications and outdoor advertising agency oOh!media, and earlier in his career at UK PR agency, Media Ambitions.
